Unity in Diversity

At Georgi Caterer NYC, we are proud to support Boys Hope Girls Hope of New York (BHGNY), a Brooklyn-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. BHGNY’s mission is to provide these students with the resources, mentorship, and education they need to overcome systemic barriers and achieve academic success. Through personalized support and nurturing, they help students develop the skills needed to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.

Since February 2024, our partnership with BHGNY has allowed us to contribute directly to the growth of these ambitious students. By providing nutritious and delicious meals, we fuel not just their bodies but their ability to focus, learn, and reach their full potential. This initiative is more than just about catering—it’s about empowering the next generation of leaders by offering them the support they deserve to build brighter futures.

At Georgi Caterer NYC, we believe in creating opportunities for growth and inclusivity. Our collaboration with BHGNY is a reflection of our commitment to resilience, equity, and youth empowerment. Together, we are helping students overcome challenges and become confident, college-bound individuals who will go on to lead with purpose in their communities. We are honored to play a small yet meaningful role in their journey, and our dedication to their success drives our belief in the power of community support.

Georgi Caterer NYC is committed to supporting Invictus Bakery, a nonprofit that offers job training, mentorship, and employment opportunities to individuals, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Invictus Bakery has become a beacon of hope for many, helping people build confidence and independence while contributing to an environment that values diversity and inclusivity. Their work is changing lives, one baked good at a time.

Our partnership with Invictus Bakery aligns with our core values of opportunity and inclusion. Together, we are raising awareness about the importance of providing accessible work opportunities for people with disabilities and creating a community where everyone can thrive. Through joint events, fundraising efforts, and shared initiatives, we work toward building a more compassionate world where individuals are given the respect and opportunities they deserve to succeed.

Food is a universal language, and at Georgi Caterer NYC, we believe it has the power to unite and inspire change. By supporting Invictus Bakery, we are not just providing a service—we’re also making a statement about our commitment to dignity, opportunity, and inclusion. As we continue to partner with them, we are proud to advocate for a more inclusive workforce and celebrate the achievements of individuals who are often overlooked in the broader economy. Together, we’re helping to create a more equitable future.

Georgi Caterer NYC is excited to be part of the State of the Wedding Industry (SOTWI) initiative, an event that offers wedding professionals a valuable platform to connect, learn, and grow together. SOTWI is a wellness-focused gathering that serves as both a networking hub and a space for professionals to discuss challenges and share insights about the ever-evolving wedding industry. Through expert-led discussions and collaborative opportunities, this event helps vendors, planners, and creatives stay ahead of trends while fostering a spirit of mutual support.

As part of our involvement, we contribute to the success of SOTWI events by providing delicious meals that nourish both the body and the spirit. We understand that the wedding industry can sometimes feel isolated, with the pressure to constantly perfect every detail. By offering nourishing food at these gatherings, we’re creating an environment where wedding professionals can take a breath, share their experiences, and feel empowered to continue their work with renewed energy and inspiration.

Our partnership with SOTWI reflects our core belief in community-powered success and authenticity. We believe that wedding professionals are at their best when they feel supported and connected. By aligning ourselves with initiatives like SOTWI, we demonstrate our commitment to fostering collaboration and mutual growth in an industry that thrives on creativity and teamwork. At Georgi Caterer NYC, we’re here to help these professionals thrive, not just in their business, but in their personal well-being too.

Georgi Caterer NYC is proud to have been part of Brooklyn Communities Collaborative’s inaugural procurement cohort gathering. This event marked a significant milestone for 13 diverse businesses in Brooklyn, each committed to advancing their role in the healthcare procurement landscape. The program was designed to provide businesses with fresh insights, strategies, and support to build capacity and navigate procurement opportunities with a focus on equity and inclusion.

Our role in this event was to provide catering for the attendees, helping to create an environment where businesses could engage in meaningful conversations and collaboration. We were inspired by the openness and commitment of the cohort members, who were eager to learn, grow, and work together to make a lasting impact in Brooklyn’s healthcare sector. The event was a beautiful reminder that change is best achieved when people come together with a shared sense of purpose and vision.

As a Brooklyn-based business, we are deeply committed to the community’s well-being. This partnership with Brooklyn Communities Collaborative reinforced our belief in the power of collaboration and inclusion. We are proud to be part of an initiative that works to create a more equitable and inclusive environment in Brooklyn’s business landscape. The experience not only empowered us but also strengthened our connection to the community we serve.

Georgi Caterer NYC was honored to participate in the Etsy Chef Residency, a unique culinary initiative that blends food, art, and community. The residency, hosted in collaboration with Pixie Scout, allowed us to design a menu that reflected the ethos of Etsy—authenticity, craftsmanship, and creativity. As part of this residency, we were able to showcase our approach to culinary artistry, blending local ingredients with innovative techniques to create a dining experience that resonated with Brooklyn’s vibrant creative community.

Through the residency, we were able to connect with a new audience of makers, artists, and entrepreneurs who share our passion for authenticity and meaningful design. The experience was a celebration of creativity, where food became a tool for storytelling and connection. Each dish we created was an opportunity to share our values of intentional sourcing, thoughtful presentation, and personal narrative—values that align closely with Etsy’s mission to empower independent creators.

This collaboration reinforced our belief that food is more than just nourishment—it’s a form of artistic expression that connects people and communities. Our time in the Etsy Chef Residency allowed us to showcase how food, when approached with creativity and purpose, can create lasting impact and spark meaningful conversations. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such an inspiring group and look forward to more creative ventures that merge culinary art and community spirit.
